THE #GlobalEDUMile is an initiative created by andy hair (thats me!) after being inspired by watching jason lloyd (burp it on) record a 5 min mile in july,2017.
I am a life long runner and created the @twitterrun (born at Shape Seattle-15 with Jo Bailey & then Grace Kaeler and then with many physed advocates at CAHPERD17) at physed conferences. I love to run and share journeys through physical activity.
I am inviting you to 'Run, walk, swim, wheel or your choice' a mile. I have set up a google form by clicking the logo to the left. After completion a certificate will be emailed to you to display proudly.
IF you want to MOVE a single mile thats awesome or better still do your normal session 5km, 10km, marathon or 100km which ever then look back at your watch and take your best mile or kilometre of the run to log. If you are anything like me you want to beat the first last mile so a easy run turns into a solid run.
I will collate results each month and have a virtual celebration red carpet event to celebrate some amazing people.
Don't forget to add your mile attempts up. Once you have reach the following milestones click on the milestone badge logo to the right to collect your badge to display on your social media.
