Well done all players and thanks Tom for coming and coaching with us. In the heat, the cold, the wind and the rain netball is played regardless..... My daughters team at Monday night netball Saturdays are fun days for me. I try and wake early to ride and run. Then in the morning my family and I usually try and spend some quality time do an activity together. We repeat this in the afternoon and try to watch a family movie in the evening. 9pm sees me in bed as Sunday is an early ride for several hours on the bike pedaling my way round the coast. What does your Saturday look like? ![]() After an inredible game of basketball yesterday at the Division championships our star player arrived home to a nice surpise. For me as a teacher I am delivering the final stages of learning for the year for each grand level. This is exciting as I get the chance to see everything tie together. Children will be learning stage 2 or 3 of various fms in the junior grades and in our senior grades children will be challenge with various game sense skills to better their experiences in a game situation. Again all information will be documented using IDOCEO app which has completly changed how I teach. Sport wise; it is championship term with regional and state finals in athletics, basketball, cricket, lacrosse and rugby. Professional wise; this term will see for the first time Barwon sth west region teachers come together and develop a yearly curriculum plan that is somewhat consistent across all schools. Our aim is create a model where teachers are engaged in bettering themselves professionally but at the same time develop a curriculum that supports teachers at needs basis. A strong, rich goal and assessment based curriculum will assist all teachers as the move children through a series of skill, fitness, team and risk based activities. 11 weeks of PE left for the year still plenty of work to be done. Good luck to everyone |
